Freddie was not nearly as prolific a writer as she was an artist, generally preferring to let her art speak for her. However, she published a few pieces of writing, which we are documenting.
- “We are the dissenting students of Steinmetz.” – An early petition organized by Freddie, in high school, undated, but circa 1965-1970.
- “Rape Is Not an Act of Love“, 1973 in Siren (Chicago); reprinted in Black Flag, v.3, n.5 (Aug.-Sept. 1973), p.12, available at https://files.libcom.org/files/bf3-5.pdf

- “Goodbye to All That“, Nov. 30, 1986 (Bound Together News #10)
- “The Daily Battle“, including the collage “The Heartbreak of Daily Routines”, published in Anarchy: A Journal of Desire Armed, #8 (Oct. / Nov. 1995), pp. 5-6
