Don’t Fuck with Mother Nature (1989 collage)

“Don’t Fuck with Mother Nature” is one of Freddie Baer’s most iconic collages. It features a colossal figure of a woman, possibly a Valkyrie, striding through a city. In her raised hand she is holding a dagger in a wreath, and storm clouds or smoke are in the sky behind her.

“Don’t Fuck with Mother Nature” was first disseminated in November 1989, in the “t-shirt of the month club”. It was featured on the cover of EarthFirst! (Sept.-Oct. 1995), and included in Ecstatic Incisions, p.33.
