Freddie Baer’s first collection of collage work. Over the last decade her illustrations, ranging from the bitingly political to the sublimely surreal, have appeared on numerous magazine covers, t-shirts, posters and album covers. This anthology draws from all her previously published pieces, new material, and her collaborations with Hakim Bey, T Fulano, Jim Gilman, Jason Keehn and David Watson.
Ecstatic Incisions: The Collages of Freddie Baer (AK Press) is a 1992 collection of some of Freddie’s early collages, with a preface written by Peter Lamborn Wilson. Among other works included is “Read Our Lips!: We Demand Choice”, which is held by the Oakland Museum of California.
